Maurice Bucaille was a French doctor and a specialist in the field of gastroenterology. He was appointed as the family physician of Faisal of Saudi Arabia in 1973. His patients included the members of the family of Egyptian President Anwar Sadat.

Maurice Bucaille He is primarily known for his book The Bible, The Qur'an and Science that he wrote following his study of the mummy of the Egyptian pharaoh Ramesses II (Information from Wikipedia).

He has tried to remove misconception about the Old Testament, the Gospel and Quran. He provides examples of how the verses of Quran that were sent more than 1,400 years ago are turning out to be true now with advancement of science and technology.
