A very useful, informative, and comprehensive book has been compiled by Aayat-Ullah-Ul-Uzma Allama Misbah Yazdi (Islam Aur Siyasat) that discusses the relationship between Islam and politics. It was originally written in Persian and was translated into Urdu by the Al-Qaaim group. The book argues that Islam is not a religion that is separate from politics, but rather that it is a comprehensive way of life that encompasses all aspects of human existence, including politics. Aayat-Ullah-Ul-Uzma Allama Misbah Yazdi contends that the Qur'an and the Sunnah provide clear guidance on how Muslims should participate in politics and that they should strive to establish an Islamic state based on the principles of justice, equality, and freedom.
